In addition to appearing in "legitimate" plays and comedy cabarets across Canada – including an unforgettable two years with The Second City (Edmonton) – I also established a rewarding career as a voice talent. And though I long ago refocused my creative energies on a communications career in marketing and advertising, I continue to pursue voice work whenever I can because it's lots of fun.

I've done character and straight announcer reads in numerous radio and TV spots. I have also performed in a number of syndicated radio comedy shows and have co-anchored a weekly radio news program for kids. I've narrated broadcast TV and non-broadcast audio and video programs. I've voiced website elements. I've had long-term contracts as the "in-store voice" for several national retail chains. I've even been the voice you heard when you pressed a button on a display at the top of the CN Tower!

Long story short: I love to "read aloud".

A few things you should know:

• I finally retired my ACTRA card in 2006 as I wasn't pursuing enough union work to justify the cost of my membership. I'm happy to negotiate non-union rates with you per project. (See Rate Card.)
   
• I'm self-represented. Since the beginning of my career, I've always managed to locate and secure more work for myself than any of the agents I've ultimately left.
